Biography

Ari Paez grew up in Las Vegas and is married to Maggie Paez and they have three daughters (Amanda, Brianna and Katie). Sports has been a major part of his life as he has played and coached competitively in soccer, volleyball, basketball, tennis and racquetball.

Coach Paez has over 20 years of coaching experience in soccer coaching both boys and girls from U6 to U18 and attained a United States Soccer Federation National C and D coaching license. He has worked in all facets of competitive club soccer from coaching to administration — serving as a coach, club director, director of coaching and club vice president. As a coach, he has won countless local and out of state tournaments with his teams playing in various regional and national leagues such as the US Soccer Development Academy, Far West Regional League, Elite Clubs National League and California National Premier League. Ari’s teams have won at the state and regional level while also coaching his teams to win two national championships. Over the years, he has sent numerous kids to the US Development Academy teams while placing countless boys and girls into top college soccer programs to include NCAA D1, D2, D3, and NAIA universities. His mentorship of players has allowed him to developed boys that played on the junior US National teams and signed professional contracts in Major League Soccer at very early ages. In volleyball, Ari played for the Air Force Base team for 5 years and coached intramural adults for 10 years. Ari is a true professional and his dedication and passion for sports is transferred down to his players.

Coach Paez attended USC and UNLV and holds degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

He currently works as the Director of Science and Engineering at Nellis Air Force Base where he oversees the work of over 100 employees and manages a $50 million budget. During his 31 year distinguished career at the Air Force, he has developed new tactics techniques and procedures for all fighter aircraft, been the chief analyst for the F-15E, F-15C and F-22, and recently designed the Quick Reaction Instrumentation Package saving the Air Force over $1 Billion.
